We accept most insurance plans, but recommend that you check with your insurance provider before your visit to make sure Dr. Sharp is a participating physician. Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting any new Medicare or Medicaid patients.

Both you and our office are legally obligated to comply with the terms and conditions of your insurance plan. For most patients, this includes paying your co-pay. Our office is required by your insurance company to collect co-pays at the time of your visit.

All charges are your responsibility whether your insurance company pays or not. Not all services are a covered benefit in all contracts. Fees for these services, along with unpaid deductibles and co-payments, are due at the time of treatment.

Please inform our staff when your insurance information changes.

We welcome self-pay patients and offer a discount on all visits paid for at the time of service.

Contacting your insurance company

Do you want to call your insurance company, but can't remember where you put the phone number? The back of every insurance card lists the phone number and address of the company that issued the card.

Is that service covered?

This is our most common question. The answer is: we don't know. Every plan is so unique that plans within the same company cover different things. If you ever question your coverage, call your insurance company. Some companies don't cover general physical exams. Check your policy BEFORE you schedule an exam.
