Dr. Richard Sharp
Dr. Sharp graduated from medical school in 1987 and finished his Family Practice residency in 1990. He has practiced medicine in Maryland, Wyoming, and Holland, and decided to settle in Highland. He opened Dry Creek Family Practice in October 2005. When he's not at the office, Dr. Sharp likes to read the newspaper, garden, remodel the house, and do jobs for his wife. He has three great children who are strong-willed and independent; his wife assures him that they inherited these traits from him.
Least favorite chore: "Paper work."
Best part of the job: "I really enjoy talking to my patients and seeing how they are doing."

Optimal Fat Burning

If you would like to lose some weight, but aren't sure how to start, why not try our Optimal Fat Burning program? Our patients have found the program both easy and successful. Call our office and ask for information on the next introductory seminar.

Exercise

We know that physical exercise helps us look and feel better. But how do you squeeze exercise into an already busy day? Dr. Sharp's suggestion is to walk, instead of drive, to as many places as possible, including to church, school, even work. Dr. Sharp walks to and from his office nearly every day. Bonus: You will spend less on gas.
